CPW has long experience in delivering a full range of anti-corrosion coatings and linings for challenging applications.
Our Thisvi pipe manufacturing, pipe coating facilities, and Thisvi sea-port are all within a 1.5km radius. Whether we are coating pipes manufactured by CPW or third party pipes loaded in from another mill, this close proximity ensures high operating efficiency, reduced handling, lower costs, improved schedule and generally a reduced QHSE risk.
Anti-corrosion coating
CPW has two high capacity anti-corrosion coating lines suitable for coating a full range of welded and seamless pipes from 4.5” up to 100” diameter and 24mtr in length.
- Fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) single or dual layer
- Three layer polyethylene (3LPE) or polypropylene (3LPP) systems.
No matter which anti-corrosion coating type our clients require, CPW’s external coating solution will provide the optimum combination of resistance to chemical, physical and mechanical attack.
Internal lining
CPW has a high capacity internal epoxy coating line suitable for lining a full range of welded and seamless pipes from 8.625” up to 56’’diameter and 23,2mtr in length.
CPW lining provides a very smooth internal pipe surface to aid the frictionless flow of fluids and at higher thickness also provides excellent corrosion protection.
Concrete weight coating
CPW is installing a concrete weight coating facility in Thisvi in cooperation with experts in coatings, that is expected to be operational in end 2016.
Thermal insulation coating
As development of deeper water fields becomes more prevalent, so the need for more advanced multi-layer thermal insulation coatings increases. Again CPW is ready to work with our coating partners to package any thermal coating requirements into our scope as appropriate.
